With IMA's MICE & Incentive Travel Manager, Ms. Nancy Lin, announcing her approaching birthday it was the perfect opportunity to combine the birthday celebrations at the Mandarin's French Cafe Un Deux Trois together with a tour of the Mandarin Oriental Taipei.

From the outside the Mandarin Oriental Taipei presents a somewhat unassuming appearance with the duller colors common in classical European architecture being lost in the colorful tree lined Dunhua North Road. Yet upon closer inspection the eye starts to reveal the marble columns, cut stone, arches, pediments and stucco-dressed walls that allude to something marvellous hidden inside.

The tour commences in the lobby that dazzles with its high chairs, crystal chandeliers and polished floors setting a theme of excellence that runs throughout the hotel. 

Located on our ground floor, adjacent to the lobby, The Jade Lounge offers elegant all-day dining and a warm relaxing interior. Enjoying a cappuccino we met with the Mandarin Oriental's General Manager, Director of Events Management & Sales Manager who all welcomed us to the hotel, interested to learn more about our Travel Agency & Team Building services that could be offered to Mandarin Oriental clients.
