Get set for an In Motion Asia Special Event and one of the most stunning vacations you will ever experience anywhere! Over Chinese New Year 2010 combine a 9 day holiday with 5 days of biking from Christchurch to Queenstown along with 3 days relaxing & exploring the stunning southern lakes of Wanaka & Queenstown. The riding will be colossal, the scenery epic, & the journey out of this world!

• Sat Feb 13 - Day 1 - Arrive in Christchurch - No riding
• Sun Feb 14 - Day 2 - Ride Christchurch to Geraldine - 80km riding
• Mon Feb 15 - Day 3 - Ride Geraldine to Lake Tekapo - 91km riding
• Tue Feb 16 - Day 4 - Ride Lake Tekapo to Omarama - 87km riding
• Wed Feb 17 - Day 5 - Ride Omarama to Lake Wanaka - 112km riding
• Thurs Feb 18 - Day 6 - Lake Wanaka! - No riding
• Fri Feb 19 - Day 7 - Ride Lake Wanaka to Queenstown - 78km riding
• Sat Feb 20 - Day 8 - Queenstown! - No riding
• Sun Feb 21 - Day 9 - Fly Queenstown to Christchurch & depart - No riding

Family & Friends Welcome!…
We welcome you to bring your family, friends and loved ones and they can explore Christchurch before meeting us in Wanaka. Alternatively they may like to rent a car & come with us! We aim to ride early morning, arriving at our next destination by late lunch meaning you’ll have all afternoon to relax.

Riding Route…
Our route takes us through the stunning central terrain of the South Island via the Canterbury plains and the rushing Rakaia gorge. After crossing Burkes Pass we ride the Tekapo hydro canals that pass glacier lakes and offer stunning views of Mt Cook, NZ’s highest mountain. From there we venture into the barren Mackenzie country before climbing the Lindis pass which takes us into the beautiful central Otago region that is littered with vineyards and orchards. We traverse slightly to include the wonderful Lake Wanaka before finishing the tour in the tourist hotspot of Queenstown! A scenically diverse route that includes 3 good peaks and miles upon miles of stunning scenery that will leave you breathless!
